Same here, have built up a credit of several hundred over the summer with the Solar and battery. On target to either break even or make a small profit this year.

I'd like to get solar, but I'm worried about what would happen if my roof needed to be repaired. The only other alternative would be to have them installed on the ground.

There is a new Covid variant I see called XEC?. the symptoms are more like flu so you could well have that @Tenkaykev

It is a problem - but the panels protect the roof below then

so to an extent it makes it less vulnerable

and the rest of the roof is still accessible

However, some roofers might refuse to work on it in case they mess it up somehow I suppose

But if the tiles under the panels start leaking - which is unlikely as the rain doesn;t directly hit them - then the panels would need to be moved - whcih only some roofers woud tackle - which would put the price up

so it is a problem - but maybe not too much (I hope!!!!)
