My youngest is autistic and part of the reason for moving is she now has the entire top floor of the house to herself. In essense she has her own flat, a bedroom, her own lounge and a bathroom. Employment and getting her own place will likely he trickier for her so she has no pressure to go when she grows up but isn't in the way of Mrs D and myself.

Morning folks :okay: weather is iffy but will go for a spin anyway. My radio expired [ebay rubbish] but a neighbour kindly gave me another one, so's can listen to gardeners question time and other exciting stuff

My God, that's torrential. The sort of rain you get in a storm every two or three years but this is forecast to last all day.

Bruce took one look at it and didn't want to go out, and he's a bloody Labrador, bred to retrieve the nets for the fishermen.

We both got soaked and despite the brolly I've had to get changed. Indoors and dried off, just in time to watch the lightning storm.

Morning all.
Raining here and forecast to be on/off all day.
Feeling good this morning. Legs are still sh*t but I can live with that (better than the alternative, as they say).
Funny(ish) story.
My daughter was due to have a long time friend visit yesterday, due at 17. 00.
17. 45, no sign. Meals had been cooked the previous day.
Daughter re reads the message...... It said "see you next Saturday" .
Now, to her and me" next" Saturday means, literally, the next one ahead.
Some people take it to means the following Saturday (very confusing).
Good job there was room in the freezer for 2 lots of curry .
