I got myself out for a bimble. Just 17 miles on the hybrid. Stupidly had a long sleeve jersey on and was melting even with the sleeves pushed up.

Large sarnie or little chicken left from yesterday.

Wow! The Lancaster just came across the back fields and right over the top of my house at about 500ft. It's an amazing sight. One of the benefits of living where I do is backing onto miles of open fields, and Coningsby is only about 8 miles across those fields, with very little between us.

I lay on top of the bed and chilled watching the cycling. Most enjoyable.

I had a smart, casually dressed young man clutching a few small magazines at my front door this morning; he sure did move off quick when I opened the door and said COVID.

Murk hasn’t lifted all day, 16° was our max temp. And worse, the forecast for tomorrow is exactly the same. I’m looking forward to the N winds that are due in a few days, they will reduce the temps to 12° but at least it won’t only be just us.
