Morning all, I am out for a walk with my 21 year old grandson this morning, the grandog is coming along as well.

Good morning all, cool and damp, forecast is cloudy with showers, max feels like 14. I never know whether this is a bank holiday or not, I think observance is about 50:50.

I have risen!

Didn't sleep brilliantly as my leg hurts. Got a huge solid lump about 8" across and an even bigger red patch. Because the bite is behind the knee it hurts like foxtrot to walk so Mrs D is walking Bruce for me this morning.

The sun is breaking through now so might not be a bad day after all.

I have 5 bites on my feet. They've been there over a week now and are really itchy. I never get bitten but the little blighters have even had go at me. they seem quite vicious this year

Feels like there's an entire tennis ball I planted in my thigh. I'm worried, but they've given me antibiotics and I don't know what else they could do?

Lidlington shopping this morning then I'll probably cut the lawns when we get back, as it's green bin day tomorrow.

I had something similar many years ago. I think it was a horsefly bite that ended up infected. Ended up needing lanced and drained and antibiotics.
