It's horrible here. Cold, overcast and I can feel rain in the air.

Bangers and mash today. Honey and chilli sausages from Aldi. They are really nice. They have a bit of a bite.

Back from a windy and damp walk. The slope descending down to the village was hosting a visit from dozens and dozens of house martins and swallows, mostly the former, more than I’ve seen all year.

MissP is coming round this afternoon so on the way back from the dog walk I called into Sainsbury's and bought a chicken, some parsnips, a Swede, cabbage, I have green beans from the garden and already had carrots in the fridge.
A full roast chicken dinner will be had with apple strudel and custard for afters.

Three course Sunday lunch here, a three egg cheese omelette, a Magnum ice cream and a natural yoghurt.

I have a loaf baking. The idea WAS sausage on fresh bread sarnie. Then my daughter brought me a cooked brunch.
Still got the taste for sausage sarnie but not sure I will be able to eat it...... I may give it a try later.
