Good afternoon, just on our way out to our Granddaughters 7th Birthday party. Quite a few of her classmates will be attending. It will be in the garden of her flat in Westbourne which should be more manageable. Wish me luck...🤞

Just had the vet on the phone. Molly is under anaesthetic now and they have discovered she needs 3 teeth out rather than one. £585. I think that will be half the molars gone now.

That is not cheap.
Will she trust you again afterwards?

A level results tomorrow 🫣

I’ve taken the day off from volunteering at the bike charity (which is a shame because I really enjoy it) and taking my youngest out for lunch to try and calm it all down!

Bad news. Our son is going to see his sister in Bideford for 4 days next week so that means we will have his two dogs ( Molly's brothers) and also two great grand children for a couple of days ( the kids that is). They are 4 and 6 and hard work. It's going to be a hard week !

Have you never pounded your own yams? To be fair, it does do casava, plantains, cocoyam (???), potatoes and other African foods as well so it's multi purpose.

ERRRR nope can't say I have to be honest. Mr WD looked at me with a rather unbelieving look on his face.

Swept the chimney, fitted a new stainless steel anti-downdraught chimney cowl too. £100 worth - the last one was aluminium and 'rotted' once we started using smokeless fuel instead of coal. Smokeless produces very corrosive emissions apparently! Bizzarre!

Was going to the pub but decided to stay in as it is lovely on our balcony in the sun.

Bought a selection of cheeses, grapes and dates plus some posh plonk for lunch - much better value than a pub lunch!

She’s out from surgery and in recovery. Phew. I always have this irrational fear that they might die under anaesthetic. Probably be late afternoon before I can collect her. I think they like to keep an eye for a couple of hours.

Have you considered trying.
Thereby saving the £399 on the item, then the postage on top, then the waiting in for the delivery. And the second time when they failed to find you the first time!

I was lead to believe, or conned by the cook, that it was a man's job.
Or it was her trying to get me to employ another of her many relatives.
