Good day. 5.30? Hmm. An hour better than 4.30 is about all one can say. I'm not sure what today will bring. I have to find my motivation and see what it has to say to me.

I do have to pick up a new strimmer. The motor on the previous one packed up. The repair cost is £166.80. A new one is £157!!! I've tried a new, to me, local garden machinery business. Great service and very helpful. They have definitely won themselves a new customer.

I had a worrying call yesterday. It was an answer phone message. A man claiming to be from Aviva wanted details of my accident. I am insured with and claiming from Aviva. The thing was this guy clearly had details of the incident but was asking for more information. Information I had already given Aviva. After three calls to Aviva I established the guy was genuine but this took a lot of effort on my part.
