I just found out that you can take cuttings from lavender. I now have a pot. Watch this space. 😆

It might turn out to be a disaster 😆

" Lavender's green, dilly, dilly, Lavender's blue
if you love me, dilly, dilly, I will love you.
Let the birds sing, dilly, dilly, And the lambs play
We shall be safe, dilly, dilly, out of harm's way
I love to dance, dilly, dilly, I love to sing
When I am queen, dilly, dilly, You'll be my king
Who told me so, dilly, dilly, Who told me so?
I told myself, dilly, dilly, I told me so "

Its a lovely day here.

I've had the leftover casserole from yesterday. There was only enough for 1 so Mr WD said he would sacrifice it for me and that he will just have bread and cheese. Sounds like a hardship doesn't it, but in fact it's a cheese, onion, tomatoe and Mayo sandwich . Of course he will tell everyone that it was just bread and cheese to garner sympathy from Anyone.

poor Mr WD, I feel so sorry for him, reminds me of myself, always making sacrifices for SWMBO ;)

I'm now on crutches with my foot and ankle in a moon boot type contraption. I've held on as long as possible but Mrs D finishes work for 6 weeks on Friday and Mini D won't need walking to school, so I dannfinal,y rest it in the hope of an improvement.

Can you build your bike sitting down? 🪑🚲

Don't want to wait too long to see it here. 🙂

Edit: @Drago ignore me, I see that it is now built!

Wibble now assembled. Just needs a ride out when I'm recovered to fine tune the gears and stoppers.

And with my venerable old Felt roadie.

I should have shares in Tiagra.

That looks really good and well done for picking a bike with 10 speeds.

My 105 10 speed was way easier to set-up & maintain than my fickle 105 11 speed. Ludicrous tolerance settings eg 0.5mm!

I wonder if 12 speed groupsets are even worse?

Ennjoy your bike!

Thanks Spokers.

I like 10 speed. For crochety old me it's the sweet spot of gear range, performance, price, fiddliness, etc.

I'm an enormous fan of the 4600 on the Felt (slick, utterly reliable, the levers and long throw suit my big hands much better than 105 or Ultegra) and really looking forward to trying out the 4700 on the Ribble when my foot recovers.

And the £400 quid price reduction played a part in my choice!

The local Critical Mass ride is in 9 days and I'm fervently hoping I'll be sufficiently recovered to attend on the Wibble.
