Over 4 years ago I got what I thought was flu. Turned out to be covid/long covid.
With it came all the normal problems of fatigue, muscle loss, balance etc. Sadly is escalated in the last month.
Been in hospital several times to be told I had lost 3 1/2 stone in a month.
Sadly there is no cure for it.

Hi Dave, that long covid is a bugger. Fortunately you can regain strength and maybe actually increase muscle mass by exercise.
You can do this programme in the comfort of your own home.

Bonjour. Been awake since 4.30 and just can't go back to sleep.
We had a meal at Weatherspoon last night ( not my choice )and it was awful. Now I remember why I never go there.
I am glad my ex son in law paid for it as I would have resented paying for crap food.
Later on this morning, the NHS will have another fully qualified nurse in its ranks and next year , our grandson will also be a fully qualified paramedic too in Brighton.
Has Mo signed in yet or has she gone for a walk and report when she gets back ?

Nope. I heard the rain so just lay in bed a bit longer so a late start for me.

An overcast and muggy day here but I’ll hopefully get a wander soon.

Morning all :hello:

Another sunny day in prospect.
Had a good day in Watchet with all of our gang - walked to the station to watch the steam trains, went to the street Market and the museums, picked up lunch from the deli and ate it in Pebbles Tavern, then went to an art exhibition before walking home.
They all go home this morning - the place will feel empty.

So sorry to hear of your balance problems.
