A very good morning to you all, may the day ahead be as kind as possible to you. My mission for today is to pop into one of the Eastern European supermarkets in Boston and pick up some nice bread, and maybe a cake or two.
We are thinking about having solar panels fitted. Just thinking at the moment. It's a minefield
We had them at our old house and very good they were too. However, the legal questions around them and their installation were a serious PITA when we moved house so I'm reluctant to do it again.
That's typical of the UK - make it as difficult as possible to do the right thing.

Morning. I looked in earlier but didn’t bother posting. Same old anyway
Overcast again here but quite pleasant for walking. A mix of hill and loch side trail this morning for 6.2 miles.
Some nice Belted Galloway grazing in the field I cut through.
Me keep you sane, no chance. Was awake from 3 as legs were not behaving. I gave up and got up at 5.
I don't think I am expecting family so relying on you lot to keep me sane and amused.
Just got back from swimming and now sitting down to eat something called a fish pie, and a bowl of salad.
Good morning, I have just finished icing my knee, the flexible ice pack having made interesting patterns on my skin. Sun is shining, panels are generating and the gas boiler has just fired up to heat the water.
Have a peaceful day folks ☀️☕️

I'd the nickname "Harpic" at one place I worked.
Nearly right. They claimed it was because I could send anyone round the bend.I know your clean round the bend .I’m sure your not really.
Having just rummaged through the contents of the cleaning stuff cupboard and found a bottle of 1001, I have taken the rug onto the patio and given it a good seeing to. The rug is quite large, in fact I would describe it as " bigger than big " in essence a "big big carpet" I see from the faded price label on the container that it costs two shillings and fivepence, that's less than Half a Crown! 😉
