Beautiful weather again today so I went for a 48 kms ride. On the way back, I met another cyclist and as we got talking, he told me he was 62 years old and asked me why I wasn't riding an ebike at age 74. I told him I wasn't old enough yet.

I waited until I turned 80 and I only use it for hilly rides.

Good morning all.
I've had a pretty rotten nights sleep. I was awake at 1am, and then again at about 4.30am. Here will probably be an afternoon nap at some point. 😴
Another sunny warm day coming up, and more of the same for me, exercising and resting up, although I did manage to get to the postbox yesterday which is about 300 yrds away on only one crutch without much bother.

Good morning, two coffees consumed so far and the sun is reflecting off one of the tall stainless steel chimneys that protrudes from a detached house near the top of the hill. The stainless steel ones always look a bit incongruous and out of proportion against the red brick and brown tiles.
Anyway, the people who visited and promised to quote for fitting new fence panels have promised they will definitely definitively get a quote to me today. I asked another company to quote and got a message back to say their bloke had popped round to measure up yesterday afternoon. He may well have done, but not at our house 😁

Cool here, a nice wind blowing in off the sea, but I'm well wrapped up and the awning is well anchored down.

Today me and Bruce are going to walk over to Cromer in search of curio shops, local landmarks, and pub lunches.
