apparently this person was out for a quiet drink and must have nodded off (or something!)

When he woke up it turned out the "he had been" takne somewhere and was alone with 12 prostitutes and some dodgy "other stuff"

I listened to that and turned ot my wife and commented that I thought she should know that I must have led a VERY sheltered life
as nothing even vaguely like that had ever happened to me like that

in fact I always made it home and woke up in my own bed
alone

clearly I led a very sheltered life and probably sailed past lots of opportunities that I never even noticed

she said she already knew

but honestly - I do wonder just how oblivious I was to pretty much everything when I was growing up (i.e. upto the age of about 30!!!!)

Didn’t you get the name of the venue for the “quiet drink”? (Asking for a friend) 😊

Back from our walk. A natter in the pub afterwards and a pint of one of the guest ales. Just polished off a cheese and coleslaw sandwich on home made bread, followed by an excellent individual custard tart.
Having had a look at the label as I was putting the coleslaw back in the fridge, I see it came from Waitrose and wasn't coleslaw, it was a " Celeriac Remoulade " 😂

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Another scorcher of a day. The bin was here earlier and stuffed his face with chicken curry and rice.

grumpy old Postman has just lost it at a bus stop.So today was cancer check up,also lads meeting.i had missed two due to funerals,i was not missing this one.So laughs a nice bangers and mash lunch nd off to the hospital.Appointment forty mins late. Not happy.a six min consultation all is well and very pleased with me.So out for the bus the traffic was horrible,i only went two stops i got off and walked to town after checking what 39 bus was due.So here it goes only eight of us and nine mins wait.due comes up and twenty two of us.The bus pulls and three students appear from out of the blue and intend to get on before me.Oh no they did not i shouted at them and showed them up,two older ladies infront of me thanked me because they were trying to get on before them and they were there before i showed up.I am sick of bad manners and our traditions being eroded.i will never stop.I hate going in to Leeds.

On a more serious note. Some years ago there was a TV program (Rough Justice, I think it was called). One of the Episodes examined a murder case, which occurred in the town where I lived as a youth. The victim was a young female, who I actually vaguely knew (I used to deliver Newspapers to her parents house). Anyway, to the point. During the programme there was reference to several pubs in the Town, especially with regard to drug use. Many of these were pubs which myself and my pals had frequented as youths, but, had managed to be oblivious to the supposed drug taking and other rather exotic goings on. We had just been in there playing darts. The story of my life, I always miss out on the good stuff. 😂

Depends what you mean by 'opportunities'?
