Just watching the first all female crew ever to go into space

an amazing achievement

just incredible

probably the best example of superb marketing I have ever seen

or am I being cynical

Are they actually a crew, or just passengers?
None of them had any experience of space flight, or any flight, and the craft was automatically piloted from the control room.
More marketing than anything else worthwhile.

They are a crew in as much as they had to "go through" intensive training

well - by intensive I mean 2 days worth
and probably not all that taxing

I think NASA has a slightly different of intensive training

Revenge of the bread and gutter earlier today?

Right - both grand kids in bed and may well be asleep

and I got myself a couple of bacon barms for tea

bit of a problem while I was cooking their dinner as I spotted something worrying in the garden

turned out to be a dead bird - judgeing by the foor
no head or feathers but about the right size for a pidgeon - but a small adult

no idea what happened - seems to early for it to have been a fledgling at that size

anyway - I picked it up with a spade and lobbed it over the fence into the woods
I'm sure some insects of small things will be glad of it

little one watched from the patio window - din;t want himn to come out because he loves helping
and would have been tempted to poke it or pick it up!!!!

anyway - I will work out what to do with them tomorrow when I see what the weather will be like - hopefully a walk somewhere!
