I just saw a bunny rabbit. The first one I've seen for months :hyper:

We have a big one living in the back garden. One of the babies from last year. Did well to survive all the predation that goes on here.

That should make a difference.

Tesco Financial Director: "Sales are down for the third week. What's the reason for this"

Sales Director: "I believe Paul and Pete are maintaining their boycott."

FD: "What action are we taking?"

SD: "Our hot x bun recipe is being reformulated as we speak."

Should I sell my Tesco shares before they slump or would that be classed as insider trading? Hmmmmm...

Doing a quick search I note others have had issues with moles in garden. I have similar as live in rural area.
Anyway, caught 2 but there are evidently more so it's an ongoing challenge. Have to say I'm not in favour of killing animals but not much alternative.
I've tried the electronic devices which emit a buzz but waste of time and money.

Tbh, I am anti-mole-killing. They are just harmless creatures cracking on with their life.

When you "catch" them, what do you do with them ?

I do agree with you but some of the reasons for poor diet are probably NCAP fodder.

Having being born poor back in the 50's high carb meals (main course & puddings) were cheap, filling and gave you a sugar-fuelled feeling of satisfaction. Still the case for many, although the home cooking has often been replaced by junk food takeaways, etc.

Born in 1947. Not sure about "poor", but, I did go call picking on the railways line and local pit heap. Looking back at my childhood, my recollection is that I (we) ate much more than now, eg:

breakfast (usually porridge, actually made from oats, not in a pot), but, on Saturdays, it was bacon, black pudding etc
Lunch (we called it dinner), walk home from school, have chips (real chips, cooked in lard), maybe egg, or Spam (remember that?)
Dinner (we called it tea), cooked meal potatoes, veg, meat (often minced beef)
Supper jam and bread

But, none of my family were overweight, among my school class (44 of us) I recall only one who was "a bit chubby", a girl, called Sylvia.

I can't explain this, except that, we had no car, so, walked MUCH MORE than now. No toys to speak of, definitely no iPads etc, so, we played games in the street, climbed trees etc, plus of course, there were no "ready meals". Plus, even as children, we did much more physical "work" eg, shovel a ton of coal into the coal house, for a Coal Miner neighbour, in exchange for a couple of bucketfuls for our parents.

Looks like I am being discharged from hospital today. I've been signed off by the physio, she is happy that I can get to the toilet and in and out of bed unaided. The doctor is happy that the wound is not weeping and starting to heal up.
I have exercises to do to get the knee bending past 90⁰, and the real physio work starts in two weeks time.
Happy days.

Great news. Good luck with the exercises. I have not (yet) had knee replacements, but, several of my pals have. Those who achieved the best results took the recovery exercises seriously.
