When you start to like jazz.
I liked jazz from when I was at Uni 65 years ago. There are varieties of jazz.

I haven't looked at the money in detail - but the concept is clearly getting close to being a scam
OK for a few people - but given the number of ads, especially in the mornings, I suspect a lot of these are being 'sold' that should not be.

I can see it becoming the next mis-selling scandal when a lot of people realise they are going to die and leave nothing to their children
or when children realise that their parents died thinking they have left their kids doing OK - but it turns out that there is nothing left.

and it will generate a lot of arguments where they take a 'policy' out to help one kid thinking they are doing the right think - then they die and the other kids find out that the one kid has had his bit and the company has taken all the rest.

It is amazing how little people think about long term money
It is indeed a scam.

Have a nice ride.
That's a symptom of being of an older generation. The younger generations do not seem to be fixated on correct spelling and grammar .
Forgetting the difference between ‘your’ and ‘you’re.’

:surrender:

Bad grammar, misspelled words… both signs of our times. Everything today has to be done in minutes, where an hour used to be sufficient. Remember the days when quality newspapers and magazines almost never had typographical or grammatical errors?

Back in the days when everything on paper was typed on manual typewriters, (pre-IBM Selectric even, not to mention even Word Processors or “Computers”) my dad was the Assistant Managing Editor of the Wall Street Journal. In addition to editing, he wrote front page articles once a month or so as well. Anyway, back in those times it was truly impressive how there seemed to almost never be mistakes of any kind. Fast forward to today, with everything needing to be on social media within seconds of when it happens, it’s no surprise there are every type of terrors to be found on a regular basis.

Apparently in today’s age, a job done well yes is considered second rate to a job done fast. I still value quality over speed, Ming. I suppose it is just another thing that brands me as an old timer. So be it!

The CC board is also as close as I get to social media. I have no need for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tic Tok, Pinterest or SnapChat (or Strava for that matter, but let's not get int that here!)

CM, don’t forget the triple doozie of them all… their, they're or there!

I find that I am getting more cynical ,to the extent I now qualify for a degree in cynicism .
