coming into Waverly last Friday there was a steam train waiting in the sidings near Figgate park - they just look so fantastic, surrounded by steam and smoke like some powerful dragon, i'm always in awe of them when I see them

Did anyone manage to catch 70000 "Britannia" and 44871 together in Bristol Temple Meads last weekend? I was rather busy and couldn't get down there.

Maybe metres long, not KMs surely.

indeed if it was 4355km long it would probably be in Bolivia and Peru and Brazil

On a recent road trip to visit a dark sky area to see the stars which were not available during the time we were there due to rain we called in to the Junee Round House Museum. Half the Round House is still used for loco maintenance and the rest forms part of the museum.
