I was waiting for a train at Crewe last Friday when a class 67 drew in with a rake of dark coloured coaches and a class 82 driving trailer at the far end. It turned out to be a Transport for Wales service from Cardiff to Manchester. I hadn't realised that there was currently some loco haulage on this route.
