Is that Bury St Edmunds?
Yep - Peterborough to Ipswich train approaching, Ipswich to Cambridge train opposite.

Is that your tent in the white bag.
I've just upgraded my tent bag to a dry bag which will keep it dry.
I could also put my sleeping Matt in it too freeing up pannier space!
Man I need another tour and I've only been back a week!!
I knew I had a shot to show this - the number on this one doesn't have a triangle so the cycle storage area was at the rear. I don't know if any of the other companies use this method.

The Southern Region used triangles to mark which end of a unit the luggage/parcels accommodation was.
That's going to make the Ipswich bound passenger train a bit late as it runs up the right hand track!

Edit - the one on the left will now sit there on tick over for about 20 minutes until the passenger train and a further 2 freight trains have gone up the line.
I see the Flying Moneypit has had a heavy shunt at Aviemore, damaging one of the coaches used in the Royal Scotsman train.
There are Several Flying Moneypits on the UK's railways. I'm guessing you'r referring to the Big Green One with controversial Smoke Deflectors

Several? The Crashing Scotsman is head and shoulders above all others!
I was thinking primarily of the great maroon fleet that is maintained at great expense for when a Windsor wants to travel anywhere.
THIS one!
I don't see much evidence of it having slowed down either 🤦🤪:

I've seen worse heavy couplings. The coach may of had some damage, but it stayed on the road.
We called them controlled collisions.😁
