A young chap passed me today and said "I like your suit sir, you are very well dressed"! I didn't correct him about me not wearing a suit. I had a 1950's sports jacket and contrasting trousers on, with dark brown suede brogues, a burgundy fedora, matching shirt, burgundy jumper (Clark Kent nerd/geek style) and tie and a burgundy, pearl white and light blue pocket square. Why would I correct him when he went out of his way to be so polite! Little things like that make your/my/one's day wouldn't you say! 🧐

). When I put the jacket on I noticed that button hole badge thingy wasn't on the jacket. My thoughts were that it must've fallen off yesterday while I was out and about, or it had hopefully fallen off in my flat. Today after a few hours on and off searching my flat (and my car) I gave up on seeing it again. When I put the said jacket on a hanger a short while ago I saw the badge on another jacket! Now that's very good news that I hadn't lost it, but worrying that yesterday I went out without it in my button hole. I'm now worried that I might venture out incorrectly attired again!!
