seeing as it's International tie day.
I had no idea, but I will be donning a bowtie this evening

I wore this tie today. I was going to add my gold plated horse crop tiepin, but I couldn't find it. Thinking back, the last time I had it on was last Sunday, when I walked round the local cemetery. I'm hoping it fell off in my car, when I put my seat belt on, or in my flat when I took my tie off. If it fell off in the cemetery it's a looking for a needle in a haystack job!!I had no idea, but I will be donning a bowtie this evening
I tell you what annoys me - men that wear a suit without a tie. They're all bad uns. Jeremy Kyle, Schofield, KHAAANNNN!, Starmer, can't take any of them seriously because of it. You'd never catch Lord Lucan murdering someone or playing a game of poker while wearing a suit without a tie.
On this special day of tie wearing it was disappointing to see on the TV news Rishi Sunak on a visit to Clacton on Sea was wearing his customary white shirt but no tie.
Not only without a tie, but it's even worse when getting on in life men have not only the top button of their shirt undone, but the one below it as well, sometimes even two buttons undone below the top button! I watch Talk TV's Kevin O'Sullivan with three shirt buttons undone, showing his wrinkly neck and the top of his chest and also wearing his pocket square in a presidential, formal fold and cringe! Mixing slovenly informality with formality just isn't right!!🧐

Drago, your comment could be shortened to just five words and still remain relevant.I tell you what annoys me - men that wear a suit without a tie. They're all bad uns. “You’d never catch Lord Lucan”.
I seem to remember disgraced MP John Stonehouse was only caught after he'd done a bunk to Australia because the police / customs guys thought he was Lord Lucan from his posh accent, and no doubt also acting shiftilly

OK what on Earth did I just stumble across? Sort of reverse suspenders... for your shirt? Are there men walking around wearing these things?
