I went to pork pie making morning at the weekend and the lady running the class was wearing a bowler hat, although it did occur to me she should have maybe been wearing a pork pie hat?

I have my eye on these two pairs of shoes. They aren't too expensive so they won't be Loake etc standard, but I've bought such as Loake 1880 and the leather on the toe caps have torn, along with other problems. They look quite well made, probably around Lanx Shoes level. I prefer the tan, but I might buy both and see how the black look, in 'the flesh'. 🤔

And BTW, I think the shoes in your first post (1028) above are just as flashy as the ones in the Al Capone post.

Thanks to my garden office I go between buildings numerous times of day. I don't like to wear shoes indoors so i need a fast easy convenient footwear to slip on/off at a whim.
