i quite fancy a boater to go with a linen suit at a summer wedding kind of look, but was also worried about the fixed shape. And maybe my wife disowning me for looking like a twat. She's already kyboshed me wearing my pith helmet in her company for some reason

I'd like to wear a pith helmet, but I'm not adventurous or brave enough. I find them similar to a deerstalker which i have two of, wearing them in the winter. The advantage of being single is that I can wear what I want, when I want. Even when I was married although I asked the former Mrs Accy for advice, but still did my own thing.
