I bought a summer linen suit this aft' from Next. I went in to have a look around and saw a few suits that were 'skinny', 'slim fit' and the one I bought which is a 'tailored fit'. I'm going to try it on at home, think about it then most likely keep it. The hat, scarf and shoes in the pic' do go with the suit, even though I didn't put them on intending to match with anything other than what I left wearing my flat in. My shoes look more like size 13 than size 10, such is the angle of the shot!

No, don’t do it Accy. White trainers are unsuitable for a gent with your style of dress.

Yes, I must admit that is my concern. The brogue type ones aren't too trainer(ish) though, wouldn't you say? 🤔
I'm after some footwear that'd look ok with that linen suit I've bought. I have some Herring make boat shoes, but do boat shoes go with a suit, albeit it a casual one?🤔 I also have a pair of brown Loake suede brogues. I do think they'd be suitable, but you know how it is, one style of shoe just isn't enough!

I think I could do with a batman. I'm starting to make mistakes in how I dress. I've just taken the bones out of a Ralph Loren shirt collar and found they weren't the bones that came with that shirt. No, they are about a centimeter too long, hence the crumpled collar effect I could just not remedy while wearing the shirt. Then today I discovered that I had my underwear on back to front! Even more worrying is that last night I discovered that they were inside out, so I turned them back to the right way, but as I put them back on, I must've put them on back to front!
