I have six pairs of trainers as I'm quite sporty so need a variety but the way i roll is I like wearing my suede desert boots mainly
rather than doss about in trainers. I even cycle in them now and again depending on where I'm going to. Wrong side of 40 now so outgrowing certain fashion wear.
Had to have a cull of the wardbrobe this past summer, took 2 full bin bags down the charity shops, stuff like rippped jeans and shirts certain tops, all sorts really that I no longer feel comfortable or like wearing ever again. Levis, nice shirts and sports jacket desert boots and my favorite italian supple tan leather shoes that cost me a tenner from a charity shop.
Charity shops are great for gents shoes as you can often find quality shoes basically unworn. My most worn shoes came from a charity shop and are lovely supple Italian leather, really comfortable and despite walking hundreds of miles in them, the rubber soles are still barely worn.
