And it's bugging me that the cravat does not go with the jacket! In my opinion a cravat for that jacket should be lighter in shade (and colour) not darker and have more pattern in, like paisley or spots. Two shades of purple Cordings...really?! 🧐 Tut! tut, standards seem to be slightly slipping, I'm tempted to say! 🧐

I never really understood what a smoking jacket is. What features distinguish it from a non-smoking jacket.

I smoked for years but never felt the need to buy a special jacket to smoke in!
