The challenge for 5th and 6th in the Championship gets more interesting by the day. None of the teams in and around 5th or 6th have really taken advantage of others failings. Rovers have had a terrible January, some dreadful performances, yet remain 7th. Boro, WBA and Watford haven't grasped the chance and now we all have Bristol City, Sheff Wednesday, Norwich, Coventry and QPR sneaking up on us.

Rovers are at home to PNE on Friday. They will really be up for trying to close the gap from five points to two.

Very uncomfortable and given our great form pre-Christmas shouldn't have happened.

Well Forests run came to an abrupt and overwhelming end at the hands of Bournemouth. I havnt seen the match replays or reports but I wonder if teams will begin to find a way through Forests tactics, which up till now have been remarkably successful.
It's quite tight in the table below Liverpool, a couple games lost, a couple games won could quickly switch things around.

Quite dreadful defending, brought a smile to the black and white half of Nottngham after a dismal 1-1 draw with a typically tedious Bromley side (still seems like a National leadgue fixture)

Some nice footwork from Congreave for Bromley's equaliser though.

Bournemouth are playing some nice football at the moment.
For a team with a tight budget they have bought in some very good players

Leeds could open up a nice gap on those behind them with a win against Burnley on Monday.Four six and seven points. But i think fans worry about the keeper.

Fulham v Man Utd was one of the dullest games I've seen in some time. Says it all that a deflection won the game l, and even that was nearly saved.

At least Amorim had the decency to seem quite embarrassed by the whole sorry affair and didn't come out with any bullish statements about turning points or anything.

I do believe it will be a long time before Manchester United look anything like they did under Sir AF.It's like a jigsaw from two different boxes.Nothing fits together.Plus the cost of top players now 92 was something else what a team.

Looking at the teams who've been eliminated from the Champions League already it's pretty much who you'd expect to be honest. The knockout phase should be interesting.
