The two wins this week have made Accrington look a lot safer regarding possible relegation and given us a confidence boost ahead of next Saturday's trip to Anfield. Confidence as in to not get embarrassingly beat, keeping the scoreline to a respectable level and hopefully maybe even getting a consolation goal.

Accy i bet you are old enough to remember Careless hands by Des O'Connor played for Sprake at Liverpool.I saw todays game on YouTube, what a howler.

I am old enough Postie! I also remember a certain Paddy Roache a few years later dropping many seemingly easy catches, while playing for Man Utd! :okay: My Leeds United fan friend of now 46 years messaged me to say Leeds were quote...embarrassing today, at times!!

I don’t follow football. But I am noticing the increasing jeopardy of Hearts.

They've been a mess for a while now,

In terms of promotion the top two will be from Sheffield Utd, Leeds and Sunderland. Burnley will make the playoffs. I'd put Rovers at 50/50 for the playoffs. There are seven teams chasing 5th/6th and by losing at home to Hull and Burnley we've missed a big opportunity to create a gap.

Rovers are still seventh, but only because others haven't taken their chance to overtake us.

Everyone is dropping points at the top, my team, Boro have drane 4 of the last 5 games, (including vs burnley)

I keep thinking Sunderland will fade. Burnley are very sound defensively but so cautious in attack. We seem unable to kill team off - like Cardiff yesterday, battered them to 1-1 draw! the pared the bus and we couldn't find a way through

still distraction of the cup next week against ????

I won't be distraught if Rovers loose this one.

You're right about the point dropping, none of the teams in contention, I'm think 6th to 10th, have taken advantage of the situation. I feel the top four are almost out of reach which leaves a tough race for 5th and 6th spot. Any team putting a run together could open up a gap.
