Sunday night prem matches? Looks like it's forced by Sky/TNT scheduling? More to come as well.

Caused by our (CFC) 16 hour trip on Thursday to some godforsaken place to play a match in the 3rd tier Euro-comp.

The irony is that we took the spare team out and AFAIK none of tonight's likely starters travelled ar all.

They were. Squad depth is huge. Stand-ins mainly plus a few of the youngsters played.

In truth I think CFC are way too good for this comp. Not good enough to tackle the last stages of the CL with any degree of seriousness. Probably Europa League standard imo.

It's a tough one really that competition. On the one hand everyone in it is there on the merit of their previous league campaign, but on the other it does seem daft when you've got the likes of Chelsea in the mix.

I checked in with Killie v Hearts about ten minutes in and saw that we'd had a man sent off after 6 minutes, which even with our dreadful disciplinary record is appalling (that's six reds in the league and seven in total).

Refreshed the page after another ten and we were ahead courtesy of a penalty, and we held onto that lead for the rest of the game.

Hearts are a shadow of the side they were last season and a lot of that is because Shankland is having a shocker. Personally I think he's taken the huff because he didn't get a big money move elsewhere but it's impossible to know really.

Still, I'm more than happy with the result and hope that it's a sign of our home form improving because it's been absolutely woeful this season.

Am delighted to see the neighbours have reacted to Pompey's drubbing on Friday night by following the principle 'anything you can do…'. Three down, at home, in fifteen minutes.

Ah, jolly good, 4-0 (so now at least as bad as we were at Derby). Nine (or more) please, Spurs! I've seen chatter from their fans saying their League One team was better than ours, etc…well, when we got relegated from the Prem, Championship and League One, we put up a lot more of a fight than that lot are doing right now, and they haven't had points deducted…
