I watched the Bayern Man Utd game last night. Entertaining goal fest for the neutral, but Man Utd looked devoid of fluency. For all he was at fault for the first goal, I think Onana is a pretty good keeper, but think he'd have benefitted from a season as number two behind De Gea, while the chaotic defence and midfield gets sorted. I'd take the captaincy off Fernandes too, he's really not a leader.

After rather middling form last season, (though an eleven-match unbeaten run to the end, too many draws to make the play-offs), rather better this time. Twenty league games unbeaten, top of the table. Even better, the neighbours are struggling so badly some on Saintsweb are hoping we go up so they don't end up playing at Fratton Park next season…

Despite a home win yesterday, I think its quite clear that Rangers are 5hite and we know they are.

As I suspected when I saw them against Newcastle in a testimonial, this is going to be a long hard season and for the management team, they will be lucky to see out the season, let alone get another bite at the cherry. 🍒
