Yep, I saw that, promoted in 2020. I remember a few years back being surprised when Yeovil suddenly appeared in Rovers fixture list. I well remember Yeovil Town as a feared giant-killer with the famous sloping pitch. Did they play at The Huish? I didn't know they'd reached the Championship till I suddenly saw we had fixtures against them.

Yeovil is lodged in my mind as many years ago the ad breaks on local TV and Radio would always feature the " Yeovil Sheepskin Shop " Mrs Tenkaykev and I also ran the now defunct Yeovil Marathon on a couple of occasions ( hot and hilly iirc )

That's one good draw for you @Mike_P ! 👍

Harrogate Town v Blackburn Rovers

Um. You may have noted my leanings are towards Notts County due to growing up in Nottingham and consequently have not forgiven Harrogate Town for defeating then in the dead behind locked doors 2020 National League play off final.

I lived in Grantham for most of my teenage years, and supported them in the Southern Premier league. Yeovil were one of our rivals in that league, as were a few other current league teams - I think Wimbledon were the first of the ones I saw Grantham play to reach the football league. And had been the single most boring team to watch in the Southern Premier.

We are talking 1970's here.

I followed Guildford City in the Southern League for many years. I went to school in Guildford, played for the U15s and 1st XI on Saturday morning and went to watch City in the afternoon. This would have been '69 - 72 or 73. Wimbledon (the original club) was the local derby.

If I wasn't at Joseph's Road I would be at a London First Division ground.

I do think of league teams as being those that existed in the 70s,80s etc so League Two looks horribly like an extension of the National League. Must be a case for merging them together and forming North and South divisions to help with travel expenses.

I went to a few games at Dulwich Hamlet's original ground which was just over the hill from where I lived.

The visit of Yeovil was the only time I saw any bother.

I got the impression their fans thought Yeovil were far bigger and superior to the other little teams in the league such as Hamlet.

No crowd or ground segregation meant it was easy for the Yeovil mob to literally chase after the Hamlet fans.

WoW.....Caicedo for £110M assuming it really goes through.

I can't see Harrogate town having that sort of transfer budget...

5 Live have just reported England have a plan on how to beat Columbia. Well it's nice to know they haven't worked out how to lose and have realised it's not one to go for a draw on.
