Pat Nevin's more likely to quote Neitzsche than come out with a cliché, tired or otherwise.

I have just been listening to a Podcast which included Pat Nevin (ex Chelsea) talking about Potter's sacking.
Nevin rated him very unlucky with the last match against Aston Villa 'typical' of their struggles.
Chelsea had 27 shots, 8 on target and 69% of the possession.
Aston Villa had 5 shots, 2 goals.
Yet many/most ? of the Chelsea supporters view is this is Potters fault ?
Pat Nevin went on to quote Graham Potter who " revealed that he has not made the final decision on all of the club's recent dealings."
Someone certainly needs sacking, but is it Potter ? is it the 'eye-wateringly' expensive players who seem unable to hit a 'barn door at 5 paces' ?
Or maybe the Chelsea hierarchy who selected these players and foistered them on Potter ?

Its an unbalanced squad isnt it, loads of wingers / attacking mids / no 10's but only 1 out and out goalscorer / CF who is injured and a bit sulky.

Good night at Elland Road with other scores going their way. There is only one more place to go up as other teams are nine points above 12th,so not possible in my opinion.I have never seen so many teams fighting relegation nine in my opinion for three places.a few worried supporters around the country.Newcastle are the team of the season in my opinion what a turnaround.Well done to them.
