His record with Brighton was not great - in the three seasons he was there he managed to win 30 EPL games out of 114 with season points totals of 41, 41 and 51.

And currently Brighton appear to be performing better without him on a points and wins per games basis.

Hardly the sign of a potential top team manager - and he is proving this to be the case.

I hope he is soon gone, imo he is in the bottom 5 of all the managers that we have had in the 55 or so years I have supported CFC.

Well, Brendon Rogers has gone, too little too late for this Foxes supporter. He had 'lost' the dressing room towards the end of last season and they stuck with him, probably due to his 'pay off' cost ? That pay off cost may seem like 'beer money' now if they have left it to late to survive.
With 2 top 5 finishes plus a 1st ever FA Cup he has been great for Leicester. However I believe every manager (with rare exceptions) has a 'sell buy' date. The point where they can no longer motiivate players for many differing reasons. Maybe even Jurgen Klopp is approaching/reached his ? With 10 games to save their Premier league status can Leicester City get a new manager in quickly enough to get them playing to their potential ? Any suggestions for the next Boss ? please don't say Sam Allardyce.

Sorry, couldn't resist...

... Graham Potter (please). 😛

Many people would say ( incl me) keeping Brighton in the Premier league is excellent management ? Brighton finished 15th, 16th & 9th under Potter higher than many clubs with far greater resources. I understand you wanting him out of Chelsea but your character assassination was way over the top imo.
I would take Potter to manage the Foxes. I think he would flourish away from the ego's at Chelsea.

I don’t agree it was way over the top - the club are paying him £10m pa and I think he should be doing far better for that money - so we shall have to agree to differ re my remarks.

Hope you manage to beat the drop - ten games left so should be doable. Good luck!

Makes a very pleasant change to hear a passionate crowd sing their national anthem without the ‘help’ of a nobody wannabe ‘celebrity’ who sounds like the only singing they’ve ever done was in the shower.
Absolutely, any hasbeen or wannabe would ruin that. 👍

Rogers is reported to be on £10 mil a year at little Leicester. Chelsea are underpaying Potter, cheapskates ! no wonder the guy isn't trying. 😀

The best attended game in Europe this weekend?

79,389 at Wembley this afternoon where my beloved Bolton Wanderers thrashed Plymouth 4-0 to win the EFL Trophy.

I'm so pleased for the club, the fans, the team and the town.

I saw my first game at Burnden Park nearly 60 years ago - and there hasn't been much to celebrate in those 60 years.

What a great day!

£10m pa for a manager. Good grief I had no idea managers where paid that sort of money. I don't know if Potter is the right manager for Chelsea or not but there's no denying what he achieved at Brighton. I imagine the Chelsea board felt with more resources he would kick on. Perhaps not?

I hear Kompany is in negotiation with Spurs. If it was me I'd stay at Turf Moor as he'll be back in the PL in 4/5 months anyway. Why take a chance at White Hart?

Pep is on around £19m pa.

Football - totally ungrounded when it comes to salaries.

Very pleased for the supporters of “The White Shirted Hero’s”

Fell out of love with footy about 15 years ago. The diving, feigning injury and downright cheating by professional sportsmen was just too much.
Watched Wanderers from the despair of division 4 to the dizzying heights of the Premier League and even Europe. The fixture list began to rule my life so I just stopped.

If Kompany goes to Spurs, his salary will multiply by a factor of X ( choose your number) he will presumably negotiate a contract of X years ? Should he fail with Burnley in the PL ? ( highly likely as Burnley will always be a poor relation in this league) then he will be sacked and his contract paid up. He is now out of work but probably very wealthy. Or should that be even wealthier ?
