On St Patrick's day too. Bit harsh.
Gah what is it with teams sacking or replacing their manager just before they play the Gunners
(Viera sacked by Pakace)
Lpools next 3 games are apparently Arsenal, City and Chelsea (maybe not in that orfer) 😧. Add that to our injury list and even a top 6 is looking iffy.
Rumours and newspaper reports in Holland suggest all away fans are about to be banned from attending matches throughout the country. The trouble they cause drains police resources apparently. Utrecht fans have already been banned from two away games this season. Still, the abject way they play (another dreary loss against a low flyer again yesterday) they soon won't have any home fans either.
A good day in the Championship from Rovers perspective, Norwich, Luton and Millwall all drop points. Important results for us as we stay fifth and play in the cup tomorrow.
I'm sure @T4tomo will be feeling happy
Now Rovers need a win at Bramhall Lane tomorrow lunchtime and it would be semi-final time. Apparently we have beaten the Blades in the cup since 1897. Records are made for breaking.
Mayors in Holland swing a lot of power. They decide whether away fans attend or not. Utrecht were banned from Twente because the home supporters rioted in the previous season (go figure) and the mayor thought the scenes a bit unsavoury. Utrecht fans were then banned from Go Ahead Eagles in the next away game because the town's mayor simply thought he would follow suite. The town is Deventer, by the way,. There is no such place as Go Ahead in Holland. The "Eagles" monniker was added by former manager, Welsh man Barry Hughes (pronounced "Ukes").
PS
Are Llandudno playing their home games in Bangor now? (Their own pitch being deemed unsuitable by WFA?) If so, why not Llandudno Albion as well? Surely that would be better than having Albion cease trading.

I'm asking you because you are the most knowledgeable about Welsh football on this site.
Not quite all, but both remaining old firm games to be played with no away support for supposedly similar reasons following some pretty mild unrest lately.Rumours and newspaper reports in Holland suggest all away fans are about to be banned from attending matches throughout the country.
