Gah what is it with teams sacking or replacing their manager just before they play the Gunners
(Viera sacked by Pakace)

I was quite surprised by that, thought he was doing great at one point then draws and a few losses, but rate the guy. Arsenal next ooh er.

Lpools next 3 games are apparently Arsenal, City and Chelsea (maybe not in that orfer) 😧. Add that to our injury list and even a top 6 is looking iffy.

City on 1 April your next game? Some time to get players fit if minor injuries?

A good day in the Championship from Rovers perspective, Norwich, Luton and Millwall all drop points. Important results for us as we stay fifth and play in the cup tomorrow.

I'm sure @T4tomo will be feeling happy

Now Rovers need a win at Bramhall Lane tomorrow lunchtime and it would be semi-final time. Apparently we have beaten the Blades in the cup since 1897. Records are made for breaking.

For God's sake Potter, just go.

Gutless, spineless mid-table manager at best.

Totally cocked up the sub's today and cost us the game against a lacklustre Everton managed by the arch-opponent of attacking football - Dyche.

An astonishing decision by Todd & Co to appoint this wimp of a 'manager'.

Very frustrated!

Rumours and newspaper reports in Holland suggest all away fans are about to be banned from attending matches throughout the country. The trouble they cause drains police resources apparently. Utrecht fans have already been banned from two away games this season. Still, the abject way they play (another dreary loss against a low flyer again yesterday) they soon won't have any home fans either.

We have recently had an issue with the Bangor -Rhyl game. Bangor 1879 play at the Uni pitch and can not offer segregation. Bangor's answer was to make the game all ticket and not allow sales to Rhyl supporters effectively making it home supporters only.

Rhyl 1876 (lots of dates in this post) complained to the league and the game was postponed. Game is now set for last game of season but still no update on whether away fans will be accommodated.

Depending on results of these two teams and Denbigh (6 games in hand!!!) over the next few weeks it could be a promotion decider.

Mayors in Holland swing a lot of power. They decide whether away fans attend or not. Utrecht were banned from Twente because the home supporters rioted in the previous season (go figure) and the mayor thought the scenes a bit unsavoury. Utrecht fans were then banned from Go Ahead Eagles in the next away game because the town's mayor simply thought he would follow suite. The town is Deventer, by the way,. There is no such place as Go Ahead in Holland. The "Eagles" monniker was added by former manager, Welsh man Barry Hughes (pronounced "Ukes").

PS
Are Llandudno playing their home games in Bangor now? (Their own pitch being deemed unsuitable by WFA?) If so, why not Llandudno Albion as well? Surely that would be better than having Albion cease trading.

I'm asking you because you are the most knowledgeable about Welsh football on this site.

Tomo is very happy! He also won 5-0 at hockey to secure promotion with 2 games left to play, nailed on for second place, hoping for the same with Boro!

I read this morning Sheff United are days / a few ££away from administration, but expected to limp on until after the deadline this coming week that would result in a 12pts deduction in the current season. Numerous suppliers and transfer fees unpaid. Training ground undersoil heating turned off etc.

It's probably only money from their FA cup run that has kept them afloat...

Yes, I am that knowledgeable I got my 1876 and my 1879 the wrong way round 😟😟

Yes, Llandudno are playing at Nantporth, obviously Bangor City have gone so the ground is vacant to the best of my knowledge.

We played Llandudno Albion "away" fixture the other week and it was played at Rhyl due to the pitch problems they are having.

The league we are currently in Ardal North West, is all over the place, two teams have resigned mid season and Denbigh, who are one of our title rivals will still have four games to play when we have completed our fixtures!!

Personally, I can't see that as fair, in my book all teams final games should be same time, same day.

I also query how Rhyl, Flint Mountain, Hawarden and most of all Saltney are on the West league. Half of Saltney is in England, you couldn't get more East!!

I'm not a rugby fan myself but my wife watches the six nations, and I know it is done for TV but I find the last day in that competition unfair as whoever plays last know what they have to do.

Not quite all, but both remaining old firm games to be played with no away support for supposedly similar reasons following some pretty mild unrest lately.
