@T4tomo so Sunderland did nothing to help either of us last night. My sights are now on the playoffs, with Sheff Utd winning last night, nine points ahead and just nine games left we won't catch them.

Why we didn't score six I don't know. We had 8-10 fabulous chances, each very well created, no luck involved. It wasn't a performance to keep the crowd warm but we did play and control the game very well. Reading had one shot, a very poor side.

We have nine games left, five home, four away and this includes five of the top nine sides, Norwich, Luton and Millwall are crucial games. Millwall away is the final game. Think I might be in London that weekend.

Burnley at home is one of those matches. That one is going to be white hot. We need Burnley confirmed as champions before then, their fans are already talking up the perfect day of beating Rovers at Ewood to become champions. That cannot happen!!!!

To sum up with 27 points available I think 17, five wins, two draws will be enough.

Indeed a slow death of "videoprinter" watching, with Sunderland going ahead and then conceding two 😭

I think realistically after dropping 2 point further behind SU, our chances of catching them now are very slim, although 6 games ago (just before we beat them at BL) we were effectively 13 points behind (10pts having played a game more) and now only 6. and there are a further 9 games to play. We still have Burnley, Norwich and Luton to play.

Although we are now looking over our shoulder at your lot, Luton and Millwall, the 8 pts cushion over Norwich and the rest of the playoff chasers, combined with decent form, should mean we finish in one of the playoff places baring a complete melt down.

I don't envy your run in... 2 Lancashire derbies then Luton and Millwall!!

Good wins for Brighton and Brentford last night(helped the hammers;)).
Both clubs are not what you would call big clubs but they produce some really good players and especially Brighton are exciting to watch.
I would love them to qualify for Europe next season and shake up the so called "big six".

Our next home league match is Norwich. I feel if we beat them that should establish a good cushion for us. Badly need Stoke to beat the Canaries on Saturday.

The derbies are there. Preston is winnable and we will take a big following there. Burnley? This is bragging rights as much as anything. Give me a draw now and I'll take it. I would like to be sure of top six before we go to The Den.

European participation might be a negative in some respects - Brighton does not have the squad to fight an effective EPL at the same time as a Euro' camppaign. Just a thought.

I was pleased about both those scores, now Leeds need to wake up and start winning themselves. But sadly a scoring forward is needed, but its not happening,I hope i have some fingernails left in a couple of months.

You probably will....
Norwich 's 🔰 form is pretty inconsistent due to too many defensive errors, I watched them last month and they do look shaky at the back....
Time for Hanley & Gibson to be replaced...???

COYY... 😉

Cracking goal from Sporting though.

At this point I do have to admit a bit of bias, when we lived in Portugal, Sporting sponsored our local cycling team, Sporting Tavira.

It was a cracking goal. Have to say though Arteta doing a cracking job . They play nice football . Just wonder how long he will stay especially if they don’t win the league this year . Rumours of Real sniffing about .

Gah what is it with teams sacking or replacing their manager just before they play the Gunners
(Viera sacked by Pakace)
