It's very frustrating, because I think he's a really good player who really doesn't need all the histrionics. Plus a captain should be setting an example, and his is a poor one.

He was constantly in the refs ear on Saturday as he was the previous times he was down the Wolves, its the only time I see him apart from the odd England game so perhaps its only against us?

And no I haven't got any links or statistics to back up my comment.

He is their vice-captain - with the keeper being the captain, so if anybody is going to talk to the ref, it should be him.

That second half was unforgivable. Fernandes should, at the very least, be stripped of the captaincy, his attitude was absolutely pathetic.

He got a fair amount of stick on Red Cafe too.
