Excellent first half from Darvel, in Scottish cup v Aberdeen.
Chuffed for them (so far!) as my niece's partner is on their coaching staff.

It's live on the BBC football page. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/64285652

I love that tiny stand on the half way line! It reminds me of my home town team's stand. Sadly the club isn't in existence anymore.

Two former Blackburn Rovers and England internationals (Bryan Douglas and Ronnie Clayton) ended up playing for The Robins, in the late 1960's/early 70's.

I would like to see Brendon Rogers name at the top of that list.
He has done a great job at Leicester but all managers have a 'sell by date' and Brendon's has been up for some time at Leicester. Time for a new face, new motivation, existing prejudices out the door.

But how would Everton supporters take to having an ex-Liverpool manager?

I know Darryl Meggatt, or at least I did when he was still contemplating a plan B if it didn't workout in football. He blackened his own eye whilst he was with me and lost the chance to play at Ibrox when he was with Alloa. I felt rotten for him as he was devastated but I watched the reverse fixture 3 months later and for some reason they played him more in the midfield and he ripped Rangers apart that day, so much so, I ended up cheering Alloa on against my own team. That would have been a good memory for him, but I reckon he's topped that last night. :okay:
