Live game Pool versus Chelsea.Wow Liverpool have no sharpness up from, but as i type the big man Nunez has just come on.Chelsea are a shadow of their former selves.I remember the Chelsea of the 70's,hard and stylish. Then the Russian years. It going to be a long journey back.

I thought that we (CFC) played better than we have for some time.

I don't think it is a long way back especially as & when we reduce our crazy injury list and bed in the new signings.

Reality is that two, usually high performing clubs' are having an 'off' season for different reasons.

I would be upset if we ended up in a long-running saga such as that which Man U or Arsenal have endured.

After spending nearly 500m in the last 6mths, you hope not……and more signings on the way

Looking gloomy for Everton at the mo. Has Frank hit rock bottom?
Missing Richarlison since last summer no doubt, but been impressed with them off and on, that draw against City?

We're building up quite a squad behind the scenes. Maybe wishful thinking but maybe we will have a much better year 23/24.

As long as Potter can rise up to match the investment levels.

A hefty overhaul has been due for some time tbh - not helped by some dud panic buys.

Looks like your owners will have to start shelling out too. Both teams looked tired today but at least our new blond bomber looked useful!

Some of the new young purchases have been given some pretty lengthy contracts too, so i think they going with potter long term, with a young squad. So they all build together

yes we did look tired today, But, we have also bought some pretty young players in the last few windows

Konate, carvalho, ramsey, nunez, diaz, gakpo, jota are all under 26. We just need a new energetic midfield now to go with elliot, trent, jones, bajtetic.
Stefan Bajtetic for an 18yr old did pretty well again in the middle of the park, i think him along with Jude Bellingham and a n other would be a pretty good central midfield.

Another tough night for Rangers, although they do look to make it difficult for themselves at times. I have to say, 450 home fans supporting their team is the real disgrace, just because they are in the huff their board gave us 3 full stands. Man up then, and support your club, and fill your own stadium. Mental

St Johnstone have always had a fairly dismal support. But then it's a legit protest really, giving an away side 3 stands? That's a joke.

I Understand why they did it though, yes you can argue that its short sighted but the truth is, cash is king and the board are required to maximise the clubs income, that's their job. Hurting your own club isn't the answer for me.

I just read a report with lfc players ratings.
Quite a few were given 7s or 8s.
I must have been watching a different game.

We played well in patches, defended well…..cant remember them having a decent effort on goal.
But we all see things differently, be a boring world otherwise

I was at the game yesterday and in the end we won comfortably due to the opposition not being that good.
Up to before Bowen scored it was probably everton who looked the better team but in the second half they had to go for it leaving gaps at the back and we had a few good chances to score from strikes by Emerson and Rice
Concerning David moyes i will just use the old adage "one swallow does not make a summer".
