Overfinch I'd like alpina is to BMW or AMG to MB??
Yes, i know all about Overfinch, & their history of modifying RRs
Their glory days were probably when they retro-fitted Chevrolet V8's into 'Series 1' RRs
Likewise Schuler Presses, fitted (essentially the same 'FF' system as Jenson) to give viscous-coupling diffs into (again, 'Series 1') RRs

Glenfrome went a few steps (or wheels!) further, with 6x4 RRs (unpowered trailing axles, but later (possibly in conjunction with Carmichael, produced a 6x6 model

I've not included the first page which primarily gave the background to acquiring it

There’s something that doesn’t add up about this, if he doing all those miles, towing a trailer for hire and reward it should have a tacho fitted and come under drivers hours regs, so if he has 2 week’s holiday and 5 days Xmas & New year, excluding bank holiday’s, never mind all the downtime fitting engines and parts, is over 2000 miles a week, at an average speed of 30 mph is 68 hours driving over 5 days, which is illegal, you can drive 9 hours a day, and can do 10 hours twice a week, maximum 56 hours a week, but must not exceed 90 hours in any 2 consecutive weeks, sounds like a dodgy set up to me, bet he doesn’t take statutory breaks either

Not sure, but that particular idiot had been on chat rooms all night, then set off, went to sleep and found himself on the railway at Great Heck, we used to have trailers at work, but they were got rid of about that time
Edit: My work van is at just below 100,000 in 3 years, 3 months use, yes I have jobs to do, then get to the next one, but 2500 to 3000 miles a month is exhausting, never mind 2000 per week

Picked daughter up this morning, for a day out with her
A Discovery 5 (the 'round' models??) was parked nearby, but with decent rubber on it
(In terms of tread-pattern & sidewall profile)
