Bill Nelson was the singer/guitar player, if I remember rightly.

It's perhaps the most beautiful man made objective ever laid eyes on.

Went for the S model, as McCartney had the 4001S and I want to actually play it rather than just look at it.

My Verithin came from one of the pre-record deal AWB members. Can't say I was a fan of their music though I do have two of their LPs.
I had a plonk on a Hofner violin bass (far east version) and found it surprisingly light, and pleasant to play.

So I now inadvertently have three of Geddy Lee's main basses, the Jazz (an actual Geddy Lee signature model with the super slim neck), a Steinberger and a Ricky. Just need a Wal and that's the four main basses from GL's career covered.

I'm also pleased to now have 14 basses. I'm not overly superstitious but was nevertheless uncomfortable having 13 in the fleet.

A very interesting - and brilliant player - is Mark Knopfler. Probably my favourite guitar player. He does some weird DIY picking style that looks like a very basic 3 finger technique, buit it isn't. I don't think even he can explain how it works, but it sure does.

He gets a very big sound out of it too
