Ok you're excused from testing duties . I think you've already done your bit for the results.

Mmm, just did a 20 mile, medium difficulty, and have had to crawl upstairs to the shower.... so, no, nothing at all left in the tank tbh! but tomorrow is another day, and never one to shy away from a challenge, even if it is just 2.7 miles...... LOVE IT! You're no slouch mind are you Bill, you sure cut on!

That's what I like to hear:smile:. No Pain No Gain!! It's all about putting in the effort isn't it. I think vertical miles is best. And the watts just seem to slowly build up over time.

Changed my Avatar in preparation for the big league event tomorrow! Is it me, or is Lycra quite slimming?
Damn. I've got no chance on the downhill.

With you on the vertical miles thing! Anyone can sit and pedal for two hours with minimal resistance. It's the hills that get those muscles burning! I did 4 triathlons this year, and it amazed me how even the elite cyclists were dying on the hills. They would cream me on the downhills and flat, but plonk a bloody great Welsh mountain in their way, and they died on their arses! Of course they still handed me my ass at the end!

Hi Blueface. If you are Hickory then I think you've already joined. All stages should be do-able because I set the parameters to accept rides outside of the finish date.
Tip: Alpe'd Huez and Richmond park are not the intended rides for this test;)
Hi bill. I'm not hickory sorry. Richard's the name.

Welcome Blueface (isn't that some kind of sheep?) to our glitch filled version of cycling Eutopia! But you shouldn't make promises you can't keep! Last place is a highly contested and sought after position! Maybe we can share it?

I'm seriously out of conditioning so I've a long way to go to get to even a remotely mediocre level. Good job I don't know anyone cause it will be embarrassing!

My son named my old Mx5 blueface so I just use that name on forums now.

Admin indeed? Hmmph!
Looks like its just you and me done stage 4 today so far. TBH the way I set up this league was pretty ropey to say the least so there was some confusion for a few members. Next time it should be much better. At least we found out why some of us weren't showing up in the other league results.
You should be able to see all results by selecting leagues in bkool.com. Then Test Rides (league name). then select the individual stages to see the results.

I started doing this whole road riding malarkey as a way to try and get fit for 24 hr mountainbike racing. I only do the 24 hour race once or twice a year but these days on the roadbike most days at least on the bkool. The guys who win those 24 hour races do it by making good power on the uphill slogs. Downhill speed almost irrelevant.
As for triathlons I could never do them. I'm useless at running and swimming.

You gonna challenge me again for stage 4? Pushed it a bit harder up the hills to make it a little tougher for you:cycle:.
