Let us know what he weathers like up there.

Mmm, just did a 20 mile, medium difficulty, and have had to crawl upstairs to the shower.... so, no, nothing at all left in the tank tbh! but tomorrow is another dayQUOTE]
That's what I like to hear. No Pain No Gain!! It's all about putting in the effort isn't it. I think vertical miles is best. And the watts just seem to slowly build up over time.
Damn. I've got no chance on the downhill.Changed my Avatar in preparation for the big league event tomorrow! Is it me, or is Lycra quite slimming?
Hi bill. I'm not hickory sorry. Richard's the name.Hi Blueface. If you are Hickory then I think you've already joined. All stages should be do-able because I set the parameters to accept rides outside of the finish date.
Tip: Alpe'd Huez and Richmond park are not the intended rides for this test
Welcome Blueface (isn't that some kind of sheep?) to our glitch filled version of cycling Eutopia! But you shouldn't make promises you can't keep! Last place is a highly contested and sought after position! Maybe we can share it?
With you on the vertical miles thing! Anyone can sit and pedal for two hours with minimal resistance. It's the hills that get those muscles burning! I did 4 triathlons this year, and it amazed me how even the elite cyclists were dying on the hills. They would cream me on the downhills and flat, but plonk a bloody great Welsh mountain in their way, and they died on their arses! Of course they still handed me my ass at the end!
