Agree with you there Add, love the 3d,

Sorry Bill, to much beer and food this weekend. Was hoping to get the rides in but felt like puking at the thought of climbing on the bike, i think you've cracked it thou at least we all understand it a little better now.

No worries Rayvon. Hope you enjoyed all that partying.:dance:I think a certain someone suggested I make the rides only 1 mile long so I went through the massive list of rides selecting the shortest I came across (after cancelling Alpe d' Huez and Richmond Park) No other thought process was involved. We've cracked it though and as far as I know everyone's results showed up. So now we understand it better I suggest we start a new league. Lets get some ideas rolling in about how to pick the stages, how regular, preferred lengths and so on. Maybe we can all pick one each?

The challenges are WAY better on a 3D course. It really spurs you on! Your last run on that stage 4 pushed me to my limits. When we set up the league properly, we should just select 3D runs, then you can always put anyone who's completed the run on as a ghost. Makes a hell of a difference for me. I would NEVER have pushed myself like I did just now, had my competitive streak not been well and truly engaged. And yeah just won those S-Works on ebay now, brand new, this years model, £155. Bargain! Not sure it'll make me go any faster, but hopefully it'll cure my pins and needles at anything over 20 miles.
£155 bargain!! The ones I saw listed were £250. Did you get the road ones? I only recently converted to road shoes and cleats and noticed the extra power you can make, while getting much more tired in the process unfortunately. Wouldn't go back though.
So if you hit the challenge icon in Bkool.com, when you select the ride in BSim, the ghost rider will be there to keep you company. Must try that later today.

I started wearing road shoes and cleats this year. I wear size 10 all shoes and trainers, but the shop said get 10.5 in shoes. After 40 miles plus I had such pain in my right side of my right foot.

I went to the local shop, they said for £125 they will assess how I ride and fix the pain.

I went and bought some wide fitting size 10.5 , pain gone. Saved myself £125.

Does anyone know if the Garmin Ant+ HRM works just as well with the BKool, or am I safer to go with the BKool own brand? Wifey wants one to connect to her Garmin 910XT, which also needs to be ANT+ ...... whatever that is!?! Help would be appreciated, as I work on a building site, not at GCHQ!
I use a Garmin chest strap, because I had a Garmin 500 long before I bought a BKool. It transmits the HR to the Garmin and BSim, and they are perfectly in step. Never had a problem with it.

Yes they are the road shoes Bill, never tried anything else. Have got some Shimano's at the mo, with a recessed cleat, which I like, but getting terrible pins and needles after an hour, so thought I'd try these. Went to a bike shop and tried the sizes, before bidding on ebay, but very pleased with £155. The shop I went into, they were £265, for exactly the same pair. Looking forward to getting them.
I like the idea that all members choose a ride. Would be nice if you can have a month, say, to complete all the sessions, so we can all be a bit more flexible with completing them. I have struggled previously to fit scheduled rides in around my training plan, and family commitments. Is that possible?

Hi guys, thanks for adding me. Just attempted stage 4 of the test leagues there but my results arent showing up in my history or on the league table! Does it take a while for it to materialize??? I couldnt face doing that again in a hurry! (Told you I was unfit!)

Strike that - I see its there now!! Over 10 minutes!! Just not showing up in the League results yet though.

Lol Berty.... Looks like you are new club admin.... I've not had a single request!

Berty did extra vertical miles to get the brownie points to become club admin .

Actually looks like there can be 5 admins in the group so I just made the first 5 who joined as admin. Anyone who wants to be removed just let me know.

That's strange. Its almost like the parameters have reset. I can't see any sign of your result on stage 4 when I looked either so not sure why. Red X means its not been accepted.

If Add were admin I'd suspect he'd gone in and altered the parameters to not accept anyone less then 80kg. :P

I think It'll sort itself out when the new league is started.

I reckon you'll notice a good improvement in comfort too. Load spread much better:smile:

Excellent idea about a month to do all the rides. Not sure if it'll cause confusions or not with a number of rides all running simultaneously. In theory it should work though. Lets set up a ride list.
