Had to look that up.

Sounds very unpleasant, so loads of sympathy.

Does it clear up and if so, does that take long or require treatment?

Whatever, hope you're felling better soon and able to enjoy that new single speed.
Was first diagnosed about 18 years ago. Was really bad then. Always have a bit of soreness and back pain but mostly a couple of ibruprofen knocks the inflamation on its head. Every now and then though I get a big attack like now - ibruprofen is helping for the first hour or so after taking, but then wears off and pain comes back. I have prescription codeine for the times between ibuprofen but they're only dulling the pain not taking it away. Really really frustrating!! We'll monitor it this time and if tabs don't get it under control then we may have to consider different treatment.

Oh well .....

It was at 6 pm, and the next one is at 8 pm :-)

EDIT: And good luck beating Ricadeno's time from the 4 pm race: http://www.bkool.com/bkoolSessionHi...?heat=1&category=allsdasd&sessionIds=12602228

Glyceryl Tri-Nitrate wins the day.
More on that later!

After seeing @kipster pictures from a few weeks back and
@Norseman is there now. I’m jealous. Looks like a great place to ride.
It really is a great place to ride.

Quiet roads (if you ignore the thousands of other cyclists), good cafes and almost any terrain you would want to ride on: mountains, hills, rolling routes and flat.

Weather this time of year is generally good, around low 20C temperature, although next week looking a bit colder. Can be a bit windy, especially in the afternoons.

Off to Mallorca for a week's riding on Sunday, and hoping for good weather, although it's looking a bit cool at the moment.

Have Fun @Del C

Our club has been going out for a good few years now, and this is the first time I have managed to get myself out there (5th May for 11 days  ). I have been out before 19 or 20 years back, just after the birth of our second, and having given up cycling ... Thought then I was a great place to cycle, especially following the Swiss National team out to the Lighthouse at Cap Formentor, and getting dropped (I was in a car!!), it's going to fulfill a long term dream I've had when I get to ride the Tramuntana Cols :bicycle::bicycle::bicycle:

Great riding, just too bad you didn't beat his time from today's race (32:16). Guess he'll win the Bkool TRI league then.

I watched a few GCN and Cycling weekly vids from the island and couldn’t believe how rammed it was with cyclists.

We're just going to miss each other. 5 May is my last day.

Enjoy. Tramuntana range is great riding. Lighthouse is normally quiet windy!

I'm guessing you're staying in Port de Pollensa?

It really can be rammed at this time of year. The number of bikes in the basement of our hotel have to be seen to be believed. And if you get your timing wrong, you can turn up at a cafe in one of the popular destinations and just not get a table.

Having said that, its still an awesome place to ride.

I think it's also busy in late September/October. I think Sky use Mallorca for their pre-season training camp in December.

Rollocks.
Well he is 57 kg to my 80 so I can't expect a lot more.
I did have enough left to finish strongly but not enough to finish 7 minutes quicker
But he was already 16 minutes down on me overall so I could have walked!
