Rollocks.
Well he is 57 kg to my 80 so I can't expect a lot more.
I did have enough left to finish strongly but not enough to finish 7 minutes quicker
But he was already 16 minutes down on me overall so I could have walked!

Yes, the league has just been updated. Congratz! Hopefully Pep doesn’t mess it all up during the weekend. :-)

I am expecting either him or Jacob to spoil my day!

Mate was out doing a Recce in March and was talking to the Guys at Heurzeler ... They hire out 100,000+ bikes in May!!!:eek:
Most of my group are hiring from Heurzeler.

I'm hiring from Pollensa Cycling as they've been good the last couple of times I've been to Mallorca

I'm Hiring from Niu Wave BiCyclette in Alcudia, they were offering carbon with full di2 for less than the price of standard Ultegra from most other places ... Major upgrade for me, which is going to be a mistake as I won't be satisfied with my steed when I get home

Love cycling in Majorca. We go mid march and the weather can be a bit tempremental but is generally ok, but not so many cyclists about. We tend to stay at the Viva Blue hotel near Alcudia and hire the bikes from them. Last year I had a specialized tarmac, this year a Cannondale synapse, which I didn't like. The roads are smooth, the almond cake is great, the climbs are just right.

The routes sound great, not so keen from the busy nature of the place.

Just booking some flights now for a long weekends cycling in Majorca next month ^_^

I've been going a few years now and have previously always been in September, tacking on a few days cycling to a group family/friends holiday. I'll be based in the South-East this time around having always been in the North/Port de Pollensa previously, so won't have such quick access to the Tramuntana hills, but will be exploring some new coastal areas and more of the interior (where there is still some decent climbing).

Yep - the almond cake is lovely :hungry:

Head to the monestaries, short sharp climbing (San Salvador, randa, Petra etc) and also head to the velodrome in sineu.

How did the route planning for london to Paris get on Rob?
I've put together the route all the way from Cheshire to Paris (via london). You can see the mapmyride links to the route I've got planned from the following page I've just put together here (this is a justgiving page but don't let that put you off!)

I decided to do the London leg from Greenwich as it was easier to plot a good route out of London, considering our group will largely be made up of beginners. The France route largely follows the Avenue Verte, and looks rather lovely.

Thanks Kipster. I've done San Salvador before, which was a lovely climb with great monestary and views from the top. I'll check the others out. I'll be there from 18-23 May.

We have circular routes plotted to San Salvador and Randa ... both going via Petra ... I was thinking of Tres Maonasterios from Puerto colom, but its 110 miles and 15 000 feet
