The routes sound great, not so keen from the busy nature of the place.

Busy is only a problem in the cafes. They are stopping cars from using some roads from now on. Currently only the road to cap Formentor but there is talk of doing the same for sa calobra. Only buses / coaches will be allowed along with bikes. I suspect that cars are easier to overtake than buses on the descents so not sure what this will be like.

I've put together the route all the way from Cheshire to Paris (via london). You can see the mapmyride links to the route I've got planned from the following page I've just put together here (this is a justgiving page but don't let that put you off!)

I decided to do the London leg from Greenwich as it was easier to plot a good route out of London, considering our group will largely be made up of beginners. The France route largely follows the Avenue Verte, and looks rather lovely.
I'm not 100% sure who it was but a great big thank you to the person from here that made a donation to the charity ride I'm helping to organise

This and seeing colleagues leaving their cars at home to cycle to work has been fantastic

all the best with getting better
you will be well rested?

Thanks, but I think I'll be too well rested. That'll be 3 weeks off the bike if I don't get back on until Thursday.

Didn't make the 5pm today as I'm doing a longish ride tomorrow. Hope it was a good one for those that made it (just AAAC and Brusgaard?).

Many thanks to the latest anonymous donator - although we're a virtual community it's uplifting to see the generosity

Whats up @Brusgaard . Too busy watching a Dane win again in Pro-Cycling.
Your guys are putting ours to shame this year so far.

Nope, just tired. Busy doing Bkool support until 3.40 am in the morning. Tried (and failed) to get some sleep on the couch this afternoon, so I forgot all about the Tour of Romandie on TV. But great riding by Fuglsang I guess. :boxing::wahhey:Will have to watch the recap later tonight on Eurosport!
