I was planning to potter along with you so to say.
I tried setting ERG at about 199 watts to give you a steady pacer but you just rode away from me.
I tried to catch up but forgot I was in ERG so I couldn't catch you until a released it.
I then had to put a big big effort in to get back and was considering calling it a day, having just made a big effort in the BKool Tri session, but I didn't want to spoil your ride.
By the end I was getting my legs back so I ratcheted it up to give you a quick ride in over the last few km.

What is ERG mode?

What is ERG mode?

Erg mode is where the software tells trainer a particular power resistance. if you maintain cadence rpm the power will remain constant. if you vary too much cadence eg slow down, resistance goes up. Its great for training, not really racing.

Sounds very unpleasant, so loads of sympathy.

Does it clear up and if so, does that take long or require treatment?
