It's a cruel place to start the ride, there isn't enough time to warm up before hitting what is probably the worst bit of the Honister. I'd have thought that starting from Rosthwaite or Grange was a more reasonable plan.
Having said that, I'll probably have a go at it next week, and I don't expect to beat you.
I might have a go but theres no way of getting off and walking lol

During the ride I had a few blonde moments, first was wondering why I couldn't over take a fellow cyclist coming to the top of the first peak. If I slowed down then he slowed down, I tried going as quick as I could but still couldn't pass. Took a while before I remembered it was down to the video, I can't go past if the person filming hasn't gone past lol. The second was when I literally tried to swerve to avoid a car towards the end of the ride that left me no room on the road, I nearly fell out the patio door

I'll know I'm in trouble when I stick my helmet on

Been off the trainer for a week, commuting by bike and trying to find an axle spacer I dropped somewhere in the garage when servicing the rear wheel (still haven't found it so no club ride this weekend). Hit the trainer instead, only had a few minutes so tried the 20km Ibi route that Harly has done a couple of times. it's a good warm up ride. Off to drop my son of at school for extra revision then back home for a longer session. I found that videos don't work well over the poor wifi signal I get in the garage.

edit: 10km route not 20km, wish I could do 20km in that time.....

You can buy a set of plug in things that let you use your houses electricity wiring as a wired network. Something like this would help

Moved the powerline from the TV to the garage, kids not happy as the TV now has limited channels

Did the El Bosquet-Porrera route, video was perfect so going to check ebay for a reasonably priced one for the garage. Well done to Boab, who finished 29 seconds ahead of me, that last climb is a killer. It hasn't appeared on the wall yet, but lunch calls then settling in for the afternoon with a couple of beers and the rugby.

I must be more patient http://www.bkool.com/bkoolSessionHistory/showSessionSummary?sessionSummaryId=548182&completed=true

I have just bought a BKool on ebay - having broken my wrist recently in a fall on an icy road, I needed to do something to keep the training up.

Has anyone figured out how to export indoor sessions from BKool to Endomondo? I did one of the Vuelta segments last night - it only gives me the option to export in .fit. That seems to upload OK to Strava - without the spatial coordinates, but I guess I can't complain, at least it has a record of the exercise. But Endo sees the same file as completely blank, no distance or time. And my efforts to convert into .gpx etc haven't worked so far.

hello simon ...i dont know why but i can only export fit files as well, others on here seem to be able to get the other files but there greyed out on mine , i see what you mean about endomondo ive just downloaded it to try but no joy it was the same as yours blank, i use strava to keep a record which works fine ,and there are ways and means of getting the spatial coordinates if you really want to which involve different software programmes and merging gpx files and fit files...which means you can see various segment times and what have ya .. and as for trying to convert fit into anything else ive tried allsorts and havent managed it ,
ps heres the cyclechat group that we are in on the bkool.............http://www.bkool.com/group/show/49114

Oh my, you lot really do take your cycling seriously, 3 grand for a bike................... only in my dreams

What do you ride at the moment and what does everyone else ride?

Simon, you will need to download the hrm or fit file from BKool, these contain only the workout details like distance, cadence power heart rate but no route info. You will then need to create the route you have done in Bkool using an app like Bikehike or Bikely, save the route then download the gpx file. Once done you will need to merge the 2 files. I have been using TCX Creator successfully in the past but the last few rides I had to merge using FIT File Repair Tool (which I had to pay for )

If you need any help with merging the files your more than welcome to mail them to me and I'll merge them for you.
