Is there an easier way to search for video routes on the BKool site? I want to do rides others have done but cant see a way of doing them without challenging them, for example El Bosquet-Porrera that Chris and Asa have done?
Hi Guys, does anyone use a dedicated trainer tyre on there bkool turbo trainer and if so does it tend to slip on the steeper gradients or is it just me?
Looks like we getting some uk videos to choose from .. Up in the lakes ...newlands pass ... Honister pass and whinlatter pass
Cheers for the feedback on the trainer tyre Chris,I,ve done most of those hills in the lake district in real time
there all hard, plenty of encouragement off me then.

I'll just need one of you lot to do them first so I can use my competitiveness to propel me up them lol although I killed my knee on the ride home from work this evening so im off the bike for a few days
Right bollox to that then was thinking of giving that a blast tomorrow morning .. Think ill look for something flatterWould be interesting to see how the trainer compares to a live ride, something tells me that its harder on the trainer than real life but I could be wrong.
I had a blast at Honister Pass-Newlands Pass-Whinlatter Pass this afternoon, felt good for the first couple of 100 yards or so lol. I could have easily quit half way up the first climb, I was blowing out my ar$e so to speak. There were a couple of times when I ground to a halt, legs burning and sweat pouring. To think people do this cycling malarkey for fun, they must be sadomasochists. Utmost respect to the pro's
It's a cruel place to start the ride, there isn't enough time to warm up before hitting what is probably the worst bit of the Honister. I'd have thought that starting from Rosthwaite or Grange was a more reasonable plan.I had a blast at Honister Pass-Newlands Pass-Whinlatter Pass this afternoon, felt good for the first couple of 100 yards or so lol.
