The shaft has a small hex head at the base
Yay found the mini tool kit with a hex small enough.

What Randy said, there is a grub screw holding it on.
If you work somewhere with a maintenance work shop take it is, they may well be able to add same material and re-cut the thread.
No one like that where I work. There are a couple of metal work shops near where I work though.

The Kickr V3 will take 40+t on Cass. The latest kickr has flush cowling around the belt drive pulley. I trimmed mine(V1), let them know at Wahoo, redesign ed the cowling

is there a long update required before using bsim again later trying to judge how long I need before the handicap later?

Yes @bert1971, you have to download/install 152MB.

Use this link for a painless installation: http://bsimresources.bkool.com/game/bsim2setup.exe

As @bert1971 points out above, there may be a bkool update needed before you can join the Handicap this evening!

@BILL S are you OK to try and start the usual password protected Stouby-Sejet?

Might be best to try a test a few minutes before and see if we can see your session, just in case!

Thanks,

Geoff

@gbrown Hi I am a member of the cyclechat chaingang and would like to join the handicap tonight as recommended @Del C. I rode Stourby-Sejet about two weeks ago in a time of 42:04. Shall I go off at zero handicap as this is the first time? Thanks

@Arkone56 Sorry about the Bkool problems last week, are you going to try and join us tonight? What's your Bkool username?

If you did a 42:04 your start time should be around 0:30 i.e. 30 seconds after the warm up ends.

Thanks Geoff. I'm ok to start the session and will do a test start at 6:40 to make sure others are able to join. As soon as others have joined I will abandon that test session and start the real one at 6:50 and will post on here that all is well. If there's a problem, maybe someone else @bridgy could start the session instead as that worked for us on Saturdays re-run.
Please can we have some of you joining my test session so I'll know if you can find me.
I'd better remember to run the update as soon as I get home tonight. Might even get my new tyre fitted too ;). Hopefully saying that isn't enough to flag up a handicap increase before the race starts as I need all the help I can get these days.

Yes, I should be OK to do that Bill - fingers crossed should be OK now based on what Bkool told me, but definitely worth being sceptical!
