You won't regret it, well you will when the gradient ramps up

Thanks Geoff. I'm ok to start the session and will do a test start at 6:40 to make sure others are able to join. As soon as others have joined I will abandon that test session and start the real one at 6:50 and will post on here that all is well. If there's a problem, maybe someone else @bridgy could start the session instead as that worked for us on Saturdays re-run.

I may join this handicap on the pro for a giggle before reality sets in :bicycle:

Congratulations Boxer's. The Kickr is a really nice trainer. It's quiet, rock solid stable and built like a tank 21kg. You will like the way you can stand up and not worry about toppling over

What you won't like is the 20% gradient simulation, even for your weight. just adjust the slope so you can spin even on the steepest sections. Oh and the power is your power.

if you want any advice setting up just ask:okay:

Please can we have some of you joining my test session so I'll know if you can find me.
I'd better remember to run the update as soon as I get home tonight. Might even get my new tyre fitted too ;). Hopefully saying that isn't enough to flag up a handicap increase before the race starts as I need all the help I can get these days.
I ll have a go at joining at 6.40 @BILL S

The fear has already set in. Anything anove 5.5% is going to be really painful. :boxing::boxing::boxing::B):B):B)

I understand the fear but using the kickr will actually make you a stronger fitter rider. Being able to get out of the saddle for long efforts or to shake the tension out of your legs is imho huge.

Next step is a rocker plate :bicycle:. I always found it almost impossible to ride standing up due to the lack of bike movement. I know the kickr is more ridgid but a rocker plate should sort that

I'll try and be there for the 6.40 test.

I had some problems logging on to BSim last night again, so worth the dummy run!

Not 100% sure I'll be there yet. Have a bathroom fitter coming around 'about 6' to look at the ensuite for a refurb. If he's on time I should be good ... if he's late I may be riding on my own tonight

 the bike with the triple will be going on when that happens.

I think I'll be bouncing from the Kickr to the Pro to finish the LEJoG leagues. Then the real work begins
Nah, just dump the Pro (well, keep it in reserve just in case) and stick with the Kickr. You won't regret it (much).
