great ride bridgy, it was superb to watch :notworthy:
Thanks Keith, shame you couldn't join us - having said that it sounds like you enjoyed it more than I did!

On the other hand, I will be attempting my first post-lurgy ride.

I intend to join at 5, but strictly in 'plod-mode' as I try to decongest my sinuses.

Of course, in Froome style, I will have taken certain permitted breathing aids, in this case Covonia linctus and Otravine nasal spray, but I expect the result will be less a boost of my normal watts and more of a spraying of excess snot around the inside of my garage! xx(xx(

Thankfully, as this is virtual racing you won't have to share this charming experience with me!

Oh feck that hurt!

Far less snot than I'd feared and I started quite well and got sucked in to thinking I'd be ok. Which I was for about the first 4 or 5 kms.

But then I paid for it big time. Legs were like lead for the second half of the ride.

Still, at least I'm back on the bike after a week of illness!

Onwards, etc, etc...... :bicycle:

Oh ....... and thanks to @Whorty for the encouragement on the last climb. I think I needed that!!

Well that was knackering:heat: and I could only beat my ghost by about 15 seconds even with all that help from AAAC early on and my ghost later. Looks like you're in a fairly safe 3rd place @keithaitch. I could imagine your pretend ghost 10 seconds or so up the road but I just couldn't catch it.
For anyone wondering, the only ghosts available for selection were Whorty, Brusgaard & myself.
